A tradition of excellence, culture, and community

For nearly twelve years, Chef Thia has curated a private January gathering rooted in culture, excellence, and shared humanity.

What began as a vision has evolved into a collaborative tradition an evening shaped by those who come together in the spirit of generosity, creativity, and community.

This invitation-only gathering exists beyond formality or transaction. It is a gathering built on intention, where community is honored, collaboration is natural, connection is the focus, and presence is the true gift.

Registration helps us prepare for the evening and remain connected as this legacy tradition continues to unfold.

Support the Legacy

Each year, The Dinner is offered freely to every guest, by personal invitation from Chef Thia.

For over a decade, this gathering has existed through shared commitment and collective care. Chefs, friends, artisans, businesses, and loved ones contribute their time, spaces, ingredients, and talents ensuring that the experience remains rooted in generosity rather than commerce.

Those who choose to support this tradition do so not as sponsors, but as contributors to a living legacy one built on trust, consistency, and community.

The Dinner

Chef Thia’s invitation to experience Haitian gastronomy through The Dinner is not only a culinary experience, it is a collaborative celebration of culture, excellence, and community. While the vision and foundation of this event are led by Chef Thia, its beauty comes from the collective support of individuals, businesses, artists, and partners who contribute their time, talent, resources, and spaces to make each year extraordinary.

Each edition of The Dinner is a true collaboration. Some years, partners donate venues, others contribute culinary elements, décor, entertainment, music, art, or services. Vendors, medical professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and business leaders come together, many hosting tables or curated sections that showcase their work and support the overall experience. It is an ecosystem of generosity, creativity, and shared pride.

Chef Thia creates the platform, but the community brings it to life.

The atmosphere is warm, refined, and intentionally welcoming. Guests are invited to engage in meaningful conversation, share an exceptional meal, and connect across industries, backgrounds, and disciplines. It is a space where strangers become collaborators, supporters, friends, and future partners.

By dining together, individuals find common ground, discover shared values, and expand their networks organically. This is especially powerful for members of the Haitian diaspora who may live in the same city but would otherwise never have the opportunity to meet or collaborate. The Dinner becomes a bridge between worlds, professions, and generations.

Artists and musicians add soul to the evening. Vendors and businesses bring visibility and innovation. Partners contribute resources, locations, and experiences. Every participant plays a role in shaping the energy and success of the night.

At its core, The Dinner is a living collaboration.
It is a celebration of Haitian excellence, powered by unity.
Not one person.
Not one business.
But a community coming together with intention.
